Posted: Wed Jul 21, pm. This topic has been brought up numerous times by any noobie and veterans alike who use the program xlink kai. If the game you want to play isn't currently popular halo 2, monster hunter , you will have a VERY hard time finding anyone to play with. What this means is that if you are an anonymous or new user without many online friends and want to play your X favorite game, your cause is hopeless.
Ultimately, this leads to the downsizing or demise of such a gaming community. This makes the program xlink very personal and for friends only to play games together system. You may be thinking, who gives a flip? I only like to play with my friends only anyways I like it that the program is easy to use in this respect. The xlink program should have a least a facility to allow those who want to play their favorite game a better statistical chance to actually do it.
Isn't that fair? Sure, the purpose of xlink is not to cater to individuals to who want to play a certain game, if others don't want to play it Tough luck.
However, we should at least give those who want to play their X favorite game a better chance to actually do it, if we are truly a compassionate gaming community who is pro-gaming. I have a design proposition that can solve this problem and dramatically increase the chances of such gamers to play their rare games with other people, for people to find their games and for the hosts to find players.
If a spoon was flat instead of concave, it would certainly be harder to eat. Thus, we should design xlink to make it easier to do these tasks like be able to play a game that is rare or not often played. Allowing such can actually change this obsolete status completely around and make it a popular game again, it is in the hands of the community only if they are given a chance to choose it.
Ok you've heard the argument, now finally you can hear the solution perhaps not a complete solution, but surely better than it is now. The UI needs to be designed where when you first open the program, you can see a list of games with the most people in descending order, just like it is in the XBC UI.
The way the xlink UI is currently setup a user must be completely self motivated to play a certain game and browse through the arenas to find this said game. If you were to make this simple change to highlight the actual popular game arenas with people in it when you first launch the program, it would provide an instant buffet of available games to the user.

Xlink Kai is a game tunneling program that allows you to play system link or ad-hoc games over the internet. It's been mentioned by a few people in a few topics, but it hasn't had it's own topic created here yet. TechnicallyCalm, Jun 13, Sahil Uchil Guest.
Xlink Kia and XBConnect Just wanted to know, will my console get banned if i use xlink kai or xbconnect. Sahil Uchil, Jun 13, It only deals with System Link traffic. I wouldn't use it for XBOX titles as that could be considered system tampering. I am positive that modding any hardware is illegal and could get your gamertag and console permanently banned.
Jasperrdm Guest. You mod and you and your console are gone. Jasperrdm, Jun 14, Elohmn Guest. TechnicallyCalm, Terms of Use are in regards to the Service. There is not Terms that are violated for a Service that does not exist.
In short, without a Service to use there is no Terms of Use for that Service that does not exist. Feel free to turn your original and in time Xbox into whatever you wish without violating the ToU that do not exist for that specific Hardware. Elohmn, Jun 14, From what I have read, you don't actually do anything to or console or install anything on it. You install everything on your PC and it tricks your Xbox into using system link for online play.
